The Stock Exchange of Thailand main index fell 0.26% or 3.86 points, to 1,502.61 at noon on Wednesday. Total trading value was 24.75 billion baht, with 5.9 billion shares changed hands. SET50 index dropped 0.38%, or 3.59 points, to 945.57 in trade worth 9.91 billion baht. Shares of Sahakol Equipment Plc (SQ), a mining solutions provider, jumped almost 30% on their first trading day in the Property & Construction industry, Construction Services sector. SQ's three major shareholders after IPO are the Sirison family (28.63%), the Areekul family (18.58%) and the Devakula family (6.2%).
